Mass Effect Andromeda was schedule to release this holiday season, however it’s been delayed until Q1 of 2017. Q1 covers the time frame between January and March, so an exact date is unknown. The exact reason for the delay is unknown, as the announcement mostly just talked about other great EA titles you could get between now and then. However there have been a lot of rumors of difficulty in completing the game. Game delays aren’t always a bad thing, in fact many times they end up helping companies work out bug issues, add new features, etc. The problem is they also give troubled games more time to have more issues. We’re hoping this delay is helpful for the next Mass Effect game, and will bring you more news as it unfolds.
